Product Introduction
AEPD is a biochemical reagent with a molecular weight of 119.16, soluble in water. AEPD can be used as an additive in aqueous suspensions to improve the conductivity of suspensions, can be used as an alkalizing agent in hair forming compositions, can also be used as a component of polyurethane foam, and can also be used in inks.
Application of AEPD
Formaldehyde is a carcinogen recognized by the World Health Organization and ranks second on China's priority list of toxic chemicals. It can greatly harm human health. Depending on the concentration of formaldehyde in the exposed environment, exposure time, and individual physical differences, formaldehyde can cause symptoms as mild as dizziness, abdominal pain, and respiratory damage, as severe as liver and kidney function damage, and even chromosomal abnormalities.
The traditional purification methods for indoor formaldehyde mainly include adsorption, catalytic oxidation, plasma technology, ozone oxidation, and biological purification. The use of adsorption method for indoor formaldehyde removal is more feasible compared to other purification methods. However, due to the problems of short action time, low efficiency in removing formaldehyde, and incomplete degradation of adsorbents used in existing adsorption methods, it is necessary to explore a new type of adsorbent for formaldehyde purification.
